Redirects
Introduction
This tutorial explains how to set up store redirects in The Wallet Crew to generate QR Codes for seamless customer redirection. By configuring redirects, you can ensure that each QR code points to the correct store using specific parameters such as the store identifier, seller code, language, or traffic source.
You will learn how to create a redirect manually from the administration console, how to import multiple redirects in bulk using an Excel file, and how to preview the generated QR codes. By the end of this guide, you will be able to efficiently manage and customize store redirections within The Wallet Crew according to your business needs.
Why Do You Need to Use Redirects?
Redirects allow you to control and personalize where users are sent after scanning a QR code or accessing a specific link. Instead of using a static URL, redirects let you dynamically route customers to the correct store while attaching useful tracking and configuration parameters.
Here’s why they are essential:
Associate QR Codes with the Correct Store
Each store can have its own unique identifier (storeId). Redirects ensure that when a customer scans a QR code, they are directed to the exact store you want to highlight.
Simplify QR Code Management
Rather than creating complex or multiple URLs manually, redirects centralize the configuration in the administration console. This makes management easier, especially when handling many stores.
Enable Tracking and Personalization
Redirects allow you to add parameters such as:
Seller code (
associatId) to track performance by salespersonLanguage (
neo.lg) to display content in the correct languageSource (
neo.src) to identify where the customer is coming from
This helps you measure campaign performance and personalize the user experience.
Save Time with Bulk Imports
If you manage multiple stores, you can create and import redirects in bulk using an Excel file, making large-scale deployment fast and efficient.
In short, redirects give you flexibility, control, and better tracking capabilities when managing store access and QR code distribution in The Wallet Crew.
This tutorial will guide you through the steps necessary to to set up specific store redirects.
How to set up redirects?
Log in to The Wallet Crew Administration console
In the navigation menu, go to "Forms" and then select "Redirects"

Click on "Add New" at the top left of the page.
In the "Label" field, add the name of you redirect
This can be the name of the store you need it to be associated with, or any other name relevant to your use case.

Click on "Add Parameter" to add a new parameter.
This will allow you to add an associated storeId to your redirect. Enter a key (for example a storeId, and a value, this identifier should match the store for which you want to generate a QR code.)
To learn more: Stores
You can also associate a store with other variables such as:
Seller code (associatId)
Language (neo.lg)
Source, meaning where the customer comes from (neo.src)

Import redirects
The Wallet Crew also offers the ability to import multiple redirects in bulk using an Excel file. Here’s how to proceed:
Configure your excel file
Fill in the Excel file with the following columns:
Layout
Label
StoreId

Import the file
Once the Excel file is filled in, return to the Redirect section of the administration console and import the file. Verify that the data has been correctly imported.

Distribute QR Codes
Once your redirects are configured, you will need to distribute them so that customers can scan them!
Preview QR Codes
If you need to run some tests on a QR Code before distributing it, to check for example if it has the correct parameters associated (storeId or language), you can preview it.
To do so, click on the three dots next to your redirect and then "view".

Download QR Codes
In order to distribute the QR Codes to your stores, you need to download it. If you click on "download", you will automatically get a zip file with your entire list of QR Codes. Each QR Code will be downloaded in two formats, .png and .svg. Feel free to use what is more relevant for your use case.

Statistics
The Redirect Statistics section provides detailed insights into how your QR codes are performing. Since each redirect corresponds to a QR code linked to a customer registration form, tracking their performance allows you to better understand customer engagement and optimize your distribution strategy.
With redirect statistics, you can monitor how many times a QR code has been scanned, and identify which associated stores or languages generate the most traffic.
These insights help you:
Evaluate the performance of each store parameters
Compare different QR codes pointing to the same registration form
Identify peak activity periods
To access the redirects statistics, you can click on the three dots next to the selected redirect and then on "view statistics":

It will lead you to the redirect statistic specific page, where you can select a range of date and see how many times the QR Code has been scanned.
