Glossary of The Wallet Crew Terms
Welcome to The Wallet Crew glossary. This section provides clear definitions of the key terms and concepts you will encounter while using the The Wallet Crew administration console. The terms are organized by theme to help you quickly find the information you need.
Whether you are managing tenants, setting up customer registration forms, configuring passes, or exploring templates, this glossary will guide you through the vocabulary and concepts essential to navigating and using The Wallet Crew effectively.
General
Tenant
A tenant is the administration space where you manage the configuration of the wallet cards distributed to your clients. You will have:
A staging tenant for setting up and testing your configuration (https://admin-qa.thewalletcrew.io/tenant/~)
A production tenant that is live and used by end users (https://admin.thewalletcrew.io/tenant/~) Each tenant has its own users, configuration, and settings, and is completely separated from other tenants.
Each tenant has its own users, configuration, and settings, and is completely separate from the others. You can switch between staging and production using the button next to The Wallet Crew logo at the top left of your screen.
The staging environment allows you to safely test designs, notifications, and functionality. Once testing is complete, changes can be pushed to the production tenant.

Form
Customer registration
A registration form is a ready-made web page designed to help you easily sign up customers and enroll them in loyalty programs right at your store. You can have several customer registration if you need to enroll your customers through a different form.
For example, a standard form named "user" might be used year-round to enroll customers in loyalty passes. For special events, you can create a customized form with additional fields or a different design.

Redirects
Redirects are QR codes generated by The Wallet Crew that link directly to a customer registration form. You can create multiple QR codes—one per store, for instance—and they can all point to the same form.
QR codes can also be associated with specific stores or extra data fields. While The Wallet Crew provides the QR codes, you can include them in marketing materials or design layouts before placing them in stores.

Pass Template
A template is a pre-designed structure that you use to build your passes. Each pass is linked to a template that determines its design and the information displayed.
You can create multiple templates depending on your design needs or the type of information you want to show.
Examples:
ChristmasEvent – A template used to distribute invitations to a year-end Christmas party.
Gift Cards – A template used to distribute gift cards.
Template type
The Wallet Crew offers five different types of templates based on the type of pass you want to create:
Loyalty Cards
Digital passes that reward customers for repeated purchases or engagement. They can store points, track rewards, and help incentivize customer loyalty.
Event Tickets
Passes that serve as entry tickets to events, such as concerts, conferences, or workshops. They typically include event details, seat numbers, and barcodes for scanning.
Gift Cards
Digital passes that customers can use as a form of credit. They often include a balance, expiration date, and barcode or QR code for redemption.
Offer
Passes that provide special promotions, discounts, or limited-time deals. They encourage customer engagement and can be personalized based on customer behavior.
Generic
Flexible templates that can be customized for any purpose not covered by the other types. Useful for miscellaneous passes or custom campaigns.
Pass layout
The pass layout is the arrangement of information on a digital pass, including elements like the user’s name, barcode, event details, or rewards points. It defines how the pass looks and how information is presented.
Passes
A pass in a digital wallet is a virtual card or ticket stored on a phone. Passes can represent coupons, tickets, loyalty cards, or gift cards, allowing customers to access discounts, events, or services without needing paper versions.
